I've worked full-time for the last 6+ years using my 23 years of intuitive Reiki experience helping clients move through grief, fear, anger, frustration and sadness and guiding them toward a life of health, happiness, peace and prosperity.
However, times have certainly changed! Our world will never be the same, and I look forward to the day when equal opportunities are the norm, where decisions that benefit one benefit all, and where statistics and test scores and votes don't undermine any of our potential for success, particularly those of our children.
Education is changing, and I believe it is time to merge my coaching experience with my academic skills.
I am pleased to announce my services as a K-12 Academic Accountability Coach!
It is my hope that I can alleviate parents' fears and frustrations as they navigate their children's education while attempting to create a new normal in their own lives and careers.
If you have chosen virtual or hybrid learning (or your district chose it for you), you work from home or have grandparents or others caregiving, or need help with the "homework battle," I can assist.
I'm available for these student services:
Flashcard/sight word practice
Accountability (making sure they complete teacher-designated assignments thoroughly and on time, particularly important for middle and high school students)
Read-alouds or book logs (for fun or to maintain a required reading log)
Easing emotional challenges with subjects or online learning
Breaking assignments up into manageable, scheduled pieces
Extra support in critical areas like reading, writing, math and logical thinking
Additional exploratory topics like research/discovery of local history or the arts
I am open to your needs and concerns!

Due to social distancing, for now, all work will be done via email and Zoom calls.
Parents can choose the number of hours per week (two-week notice for any permanent changes).
Accommodations due to student illness or breaks can be made.
I will invoice the upcoming week's hours and fees on Sunday. Payment is due on or by the following Sunday for the new upcoming week. Failure to remit payment will cause a lapse in coaching.
Cancelled sessions (by parent or myself) will be re-scheduled later in the week or in an upcoming week. No refunds.
All payments will be done online via credit or debit cards.
Either party may end the arrangement with one week's notice.
I can be scheduled indefinitely or with a specific timeframe (such as a month of extra reading support).
Available 8am-4pm, M-F, 1-5 hours/week per student.
First hour/week: $35 per child
Each additional hour/week: $32 per child
About carrie's work:
"I also feel lighter, as if I've gotten rid of the heavy burden of disease, sadness, anger and misery. Those feelings still happen but they pass right on by...i never knew this was possible!"
