I woke up today knowing that I was to post about the holidays and the acute loss many people feel during this time. I wasn't sure of the direction it should go, and as I write this, I'm still not entirely sure! But I trust the guidance of the angels...
I chose an archangel card to guide my thoughts, and with no surprise Azrael appeared. If you've been following me or my blog, you'll know that she's "my" archangel and accompanies me to all of my healing sessions. If you are new to my work, Azrael's name means "whom God helps" but is otherwise known as the Archangel of Death. When she first appeared to me as my mentor, I was surprised, and I'm not going to lie, a little bit disturbed. Who hopes the Archangel of Death is guiding them? But the closer I worked with her, the more I realized that she was the perfect archangel for me. She comforts the grieving, assists the dying and guides healers who work with grief and loss. I rely on her gentleness and wisdom every time I connect the living with loved ones who have crossed. This holiday season I have one simple wish: that the beautiful Archangel Azrael surrounds you with comfort; connects you with loved ones both living and passed; unveils the beauty and purpose in living this life fully; and lifts any guilt or remorse you may carry regarding loss of your loved ones. Healing grief alone is an undertaking, needing to heal guilt or remorse along with it is often too huge a burden. Leave that one for the angels. It serves you no purpose. May you find love and joy with those who surround you this holiday season. Call upon the angelic team to assist you, they are ready, able and more than willing to oblige! Archangel blessings today from Azrael.
