You Are Safe...

I've been doing a lot of reading, studying, meditating, conversing (and laughing) since I opened Beleno Spiritual Healing Center. It's a big, big undertaking for me and I want to be sure I stay centered and focused as I lead people to discover the joys that life has to offer.

One important thing I discovered yesterday is that the old adage, "What lesson did you learn from that experience?" really is a myth. There are no lessons in this life to be learned. Really? you say. That can't be so. I must have needed to learn something from that job that didn't work out or the relationship that failed, right?

But I ask you to consider this: Maybe the uncomfortable incidents that we've gone through are not designed to make us "learn something." Perhaps they are simply there to show us where we are not aligned with our highest and best selves. Off the path of doing what our souls came here to experience. Maybe that job didn't suit your higher purpose? In fact, I bet it didn't! And that relationship? Were you able to be your authentic self? Were they?

As I listened to one of my favorite spiritual teachers, Matt Kahn, his words resonated with me. In a nutshell, when you experience stress, it is simply your body reminding you that you are aligned with ego, not the Divine. When you are in alignment with your higher self, you cannot experience stress. Essentially, chaos ensues when a whole bunch of people get together that are aligned with ego, not their souls, and they all interact with their own agendas.

How do you not align with ego, you may ask? (And I'm not talking about egotistical, that's a whole different meaning. I'm talking about the thinking part of ourselves, not the feeling part.)

Two ways: By asking for help from your higher self, Source, God, angels, the universe...whatever you want to call it. Understand that you cannot, and were not, designed to navigate all of these challenges alone. And secondly, by tuning into your intuition. Really listen to your gut and heart feelings. They will always steer you in the direction of your soul's higher purpose...and that is always a joyful, loving place. YOU know what your gut is telling you, you just need to listen and follow.

I love talking with the practitioners in the Center. Each one of us brings a new perspective to the table of universal energy. As this week unfolded with new revelations, one of the practitioner's family members took this photo and sent it to her:

Astounded? We were. And there was every coincidence that we were supposed to receive this image as a group this week. Powerful, healing things happen when a bunch of like-minded, purposeful souls join together to uplift humanity, bringing to life laughter, joy, peace and purpose. Rest assured that YOU ARE SAFE as you embark on your own personal enlightenment journey, and we're here to help you.

Healing ourselves heals the world. Give it a try...here's proof the angels are protecting you, what have you got to lose?
Live in love,
Carrie

Pursue Your Passion...I Did!

As of this writing, 651 people have viewed the article about Beleno Spiritual Healing Center's grand opening on June 3 in "The Valley Ledger"...that's nearly as many as all of my posts combined! I am truly overwhelmed by the wonderful response to the Center.

That being said, it's time to share how this Center came into existence (it's nearly as amazing as "The Night Yoda Phoned!") and more importantly, why YOU should pursue your passion...

On February 12, 2016, I decided (and declared) that my current office space in the basement of an office building no longer suited my work. I knew as a lightworker, energy healer, social butterfly (whatever you want to call me!), I did not want to do this work solo. I needed to be surrounded by like-minded people who were conversing about healing the world, feeling they needed to make a difference, and acting on their visions. I shared this feeling with my good friend, Sheri.

That evening she sends me an MLS listing for 1019 W. Broad and says: "You should buy a building!" as I think, "Sure, I'll just write a check with all that extra cash I have laying around."

But I have learned to never, ever ignore a message that is handed to me (Spirit often works through others to lead us in our soul's direction). The next morning I contacted the listing agent who just "happened" to be free that afternoon and called a few of the people closest to me who have the same healing vision. They, of course, were all free that afternoon as well. In fact, one of these friends had already seen the property and declared it was going to be my Center the week before! She had stood on the porch of the adjacent dentist's office, pointed, and announced it...(Again, Spirit working through others to lead us in the right direction)!

We fell in love with the old home. I began investigating financing, and on February 22 (2/22 for those of you fascinated by numerology), I put an offer in. On March 22 (no coincidence), I received my commitment letter, and on April 18 I closed on the property.

56 days, start to finish, for a commercial property: offer, inspections, appraisal, personal and business plans, tax and loan documents...

Then began the 5 grueling weeks of renovations, completed by five of us, with a few contractors thrown in. We brought that beautiful old home back to its original bones as best as we could for the time and money allotted.

And now our doors are open....ready with practitioners and events to connect body, mind and soul (and always open for more...)

The point of all of this (other than the fact that it is a pretty amazing story) is this: As you search and follow your passion, watch for Spirit to work through you and others. Don't ignore gut and heart feelings, remember, your intuition is the way your soul communicates with you. Haven't identified your passion yet? No worries! Listen to what makes your heart sing, what makes you feel joyful. Purpose and passion are often connected to these feelings (and there may be more than one, and that's ok!).

Don't let ego derail your possibilities. I could have easily said, "I won't get a loan," or "I can't renovate a house," or "I know nothing about commercial properties," (all of which I believed to be TRUE) and stopped before I started. But I've learned to listen to the signs and follow my intuition.

And you can too...
Live in love.

About carrie's work:

"I also feel lighter, as if I've gotten rid of the heavy burden of disease, sadness, anger and misery. Those feelings still happen but they pass right on by...i never knew this was possible!"
