![]() Are YOU listening? I mean really listening? Or do you find yourself plowing through your day, flopping exhausted on the couch, wondering where the day went? The time has come to hone your listening skills. You've heard that before, right? We should all be better listeners? I bet you don't hear: "Stop and listen to yourself" very often. But you must. Right now. Here's why: Our soul, higher self, divine goodness~ whatever you may call it~ has a direct line of communication with us. In fact, it wants so badly for us to hear and connect with our physical body that it established THREE lines of communication (just in case you miss the first two)! One is through our heart feelings, one is through our gut instincts and the last is through our thoughts. Our souls know the "Easy Path," the ultimate destination of joy, love and peace...what will bring us profound happiness. And it wants us to achieve it. So it sets out to communicate the steps along the way of the Easy Path, giving us mile markers and clues to help us navigate life. They come in three forms:
Most of us know what makes our hearts sing (and if you don't know, please take some time today to identify what they are, you must find your joy!). We've all had gut instincts kick in as well, sometimes we follow it (I knew that was the right thing to do OR, dang, I wish I had listened to my gut). Thoughts are a bit trickier, because sometimes they are our intuition (there's a reason the third eye is located on the forehead) and sometimes they are our ego running amok. Here's how you can tell the difference:
How many times have you had a nagging thought or a gut feeling that you should:
Do yourself a favor: Stop, look and listen. Today. Notice what your soul is communicating to you. And don't be afraid of what it says. Remember, your soul knows the Easy Path. It knows the end destination to get you to happiness and it won't let you down. Will there be hiccups along the way? Sure. But that's the game of life we signed up for. Go play the game! Death is a choice? Really? Who says?
I say. Can't believe it? It's not conjecture or wishful thinking or imagination on my part. It's my universal truth and I implore you to continue reading. In case you missed it, I'm a medium. I have connected with thousands of departed loved ones and this truth comes from their messages. Don't get me wrong, their human self may not have chosen to die, but I guarantee their higher self, their soul, did. Our souls know everything, including when it is time to join the other side instead of schlepping around in this world we call life. Sometimes they are given a choice to stay or go. Sometimes they are shown what is to come in their lifetime versus the magic they'll be able to perform on the other side and they choose. Sometimes they return (near death experiences) and sometimes they go for the gold on the other side. And sometimes their human form is surprised by death. But in the end, they know we will all be together again. They know that they never really leave us. They know that they can affect our lives so much more powerfully from the other side. They become pure love. Why am I sharing this today? Because I just released my podcast episode titled: "Making Sense of the Senseless." If I can add just one thing to that episode, it is this: Do not carry the "what ifs." "What if" it hadn't rained that day? "What if" she hadn't left the house? "What if" I had made a different medical decision? "What if"... The worry and guilt that accompany "what ifs" are damaging and paralyzing. If it wasn't supposed to rain, it wouldn't have. If she wasn't supposed to leave the house, she wouldn't have. If you were supposed to have made a different medical decision, you would have made it. All of these things are divinely orchestrated for the soul who departed. It was their path, their journey. Lift the guilt surrounding grief. I guarantee your loved ones want you to live life to its fullest while you can because this life is as short as the blink of an eye. They want you to live in love and joy and peace, not guilt, regret, grief and remorse. Look for their magic. I promise you it's there if you step away from missing them. Declaring that you miss them causes you to miss the magic. If you need help navigating death or grief, please contact me. It's my wish that you can: Live in Love. Carrie Side note #1: For those who think being a medium is "the devil's work," I pose this question to you: My mission is to teach people how to live in love, enjoying every moment this glorious life has to offer, using the guidance system that was created for us: our loved ones, angels, guides, masters and yes, even God. The devil's work? I think not. I've seen the results. (Anyhow, there is no "devil," another one of my truths.) Side note #2: The accompanying photo was given to me by someone I know and love. It's not photoshopped. And it's not a harbinger of death. It is part of that spectacular guidance system that I, and you, can tap into. Please start tapping, it's time.
