Those of you who are old enough to remember, these are the opening lyrics to a popular 1965 song, "anthem" if you will:
"What the world needs now, is love, sweet love
It's the only thing that there's just too little of...."
Here's the link to the original song. I recommend that you listen as you read my blog:
I went to sleep with these lyrics in my head and woke up with them still there...a clear sign from my team that it was time to write.
My friends, I connect with Spirit everyday. Everyday I hear their messages of love, healing and peace. They do not want us suffering in the world as it is. They only want the best for us: joy, happiness, peace and love.
It's time that we want the same for ourselves.
You say that you do, too? Well let's take action, together.
It's only one simple step and very easy to do:
Make every decision out of love. Operate only with love as your primary outcome.
Here are some ways to help you notice when love is predominantly necessary:
What the world needs now, is love, sweet love. Thank you Burt Bacharach. It couldn't be more true than today than it was 50 years ago.
Message delivered today from every Archangel in heaven.
PS: And here's Tom Clay's 1971 remix version with social commentary. Have a tissue handy for this one. If you let it play until the next video, there is another updated version with more current events:
This is my personal plea to you...time is up. We've reached critical mass.
It's been coming for a long time now, have you felt it? It's time that we gather our resources to do one extremely important collective task.
We all need to take part, no matter our social, economic, marital, family or educational statuses.
WE NEED TO EMPOWER OUR CHILDREN TO CHANGE THE PATH WE ARE ON.
When I say "our" I do not simply mean "your" children. I mean the collective children. Even the ones that aren't yours. The ones who are different. The ones who don't look or act "normal." These children are our future. I'm asking that you all take a reflective look at yourselves and see how you can be part of the solution.
We as a society need to act compassionately, without judgment. We need to put love first, not fear. We need to honor others' opinions without hostility. And we need to exercise respect: respect of racial differences, respect of sexual orientation, respect of religious beliefs, respect of economic status, respect of political affiliation...I can go on.
Not everyone is going to be just like you, and that's OK. That's the way the world's meant to be.
As adults, we need to be the role models for our children:
Archangel blessings today from Azrael.
Carrie, with a lot of Spiritual guidance!
